The CES music production team, curated by Natalia Beridze and Nika Machaidze, presents the musical accompaniment for the Georgian feature silent film directed by Konstantin Mikaberidze "My Grandmother."
The film was shot in 1929 but remained banned for 40 years. "My Grandmother" serves as an example of Soviet eccentric cinema, satirically depicting the early years of the Soviet system.
The CES music production team comprises notable and accomplished Georgian electronic musicians: Natalia Beridze, Nika Machaidze, Tazo Meipariani, Tamo Nasidze, Ben Wheeler, Tina Ghoghoberidze and Irakli Margishvili.
Performance was made with support of Fabrika-Tbilisi while hosting "Reboot Camp Meeting #96" TEH on October 5th 2023.
