Max is a visual programming language that is a platform for working with sound and images, both, separately and in interactive mode. Max allows you to create a simple patch (program) in a matter of minutes, without in-depth programming knowledge, it allows you to quickly and conveniently create patches for complex tasks too.
Today, Max is a leader in the field and is widely used by sound and video artists, composers, researchers, scientists, software designers, DJs, VJs and more. It is widly used for tasks such as: audio / video recording, playing, processing, interactive art, installations, sound synthesis, generative art, algorithmic composition, sound research, music and video live performance and more.
The course compiles 16 lectures, during which we will try to introduce you to the basic paradigms, principles, techniques and theoretical parts of working with Max, help you develop the habits of working with Max, get used to the effective use of its help files, examples, forums and instructions, so that in the future you can explore the path in it independently.
